Home / Getting There
Four ways up the hill.
Fifty kilometres north of Kuala Lumpur, an hour and a bit of winding road — and there's more than one way to make the climb. Here's the cable car, the coach, the free shuttle, and driving yourself, with what each one actually costs.

by road
Awana Skyway
Gondola from Awana station up to SkyAvenue. One of the fastest cable car systems in the region — about 10 minutes, with glass-floor cabins available for a surcharge.
Express coach
Direct services run from KL Sentral straight to the hill. Book the return leg early if you’re travelling on a weekend or public holiday.
Free shuttle bus
Complimentary shuttle options operate on selected routes and times — check the day’s schedule before you rely on it as your only way up.
Drive yourself
Karak Highway, then the hill road. Park at the lower car parks on busy days and take the Skyway up rather than fighting for parking at the peak.
